It’s never too early!

Start preparing for next year’s Blackmores Sydney Running Festival!

For the last three years, I have organized a team for the annual Sydney Running Festival, held in September each year. This great event features four distances (3.5 kms, 10 kms, half marathon and marathon); all include the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge (traffic free).

Next year’s festival will be on Sunday, September 15. With nearly a year to train and plan, why not use this event as a goal to improve your fitness? If you’ve done this event before, you might want to do a longer distance, or set a time goal. If you’ve never done this event, it’s a great one for a first-timer, as it is friendly and caters to a range of fitness levels, particularly the 3.5 km event.

Extra Mile PT holds regular walk/run groups throughout the year, and I’m always happy to help with advice on training. For anyone wanting to use the event to raise funds for a good cause, there are also fundraising options.
